Mike said...: Love this tune; not totally crazy about Shania, but her voice is sweet and so is this song. I first heard it watching the movie Twister and re-wound it several times to listen to the very faint soundtrack in the background during the first roadside cafe scene. Mike said...: I've come to like her more in the last couple of years since I first posted that vid; she's got a pitch to her voice that hits me to some level where I get weak in the knees...it just about makes my heart go pitty-pat. Seriously.

There are a few other female country singers that affect me that way, too; for example, I could listen to Trish Yearwood just talk, she wouldn't have to even sing.

I like country music all right; I prefer to pick and choose what I listen to. I'm more of a old rock tunes guy than anything else, but I do listen to some country and have a few dozen favorites in my mp3 jukebox.; April 18, 2009 at 12:06 AM
sharintexas said...: I like Shania, too....at least most of her songs. She has an interesting life story. Twister is one of those movies I watch over and over again. That doesn't say much for my taste in movies, but for some reason it captures my attention time and time again.
