Have always loved that song.
When I was finishing up college I had a work study job doing clerical stuff for the department I was majoring in. They got their very first computer, it was a big deal, quite expensive and really just for word processing. Ran something called WordStar. I still remember all the F-key commands for that darn thing.
Anyway, for some reason the other student and I who worked there named the thing Ami (after that song). Wierd memory to come bubbling up after so long.
I have one of their albums, but just last night I found "Two Lane Highway" and I think I always liked that one better than Amie. I've got the code for it, but it's a video that some kid made, not bad, just silly. I'll post it soon.
I also liked, around the same time, The Ozark Mountain Daredevils, remember them? I will have to see about one of their vids or at least the audio, esp. for "Chicken Train", GREAT song!
Thanks for posting!
A bump after I found the original vid had been taken down.
Great tune.
