  Liberian President William R. Tolbert Is Killed in Military Coup (1980)Liberia was founded in the 1820s by former slaves from the US, and tensions between the Americo-Liberian minority and the indigenous majority have persisted since that time. On April 12, 1980, a group of soldiers led by Samuel Kanyon Doe stormed the executive mansion, killing Americo-Liberian President William R. Tolbert and 27 other government leaders. I know, I know, and I'm not even a blond.
By the way, that is my dream horse! I always wanted a paint horse with high white stockings like that. The stocky build, very pretty face, nice balance of light to dark coat patterns, perfect.
=sigh=
I really do want another horse.
That horse was the one out of the entire herd that acted nervous by me being there; I have several shots just like that one where it is in the exact same spot, same posture and all that, eyeing me warily. It came up to the fence but didn't come very close, wouldn't stand still of the camera, acted like it was scared of it or me.
I'd like to have enough money to buy an elephant. I don't want an elephant, just want enough money to buy one.
