Roosevelt Forbids Hoarding of Gold (1933)Executive Order 6102 required US citizens and businesses to turn in all but a small amount of gold to the Federal Reserve in exchange for $20.67 per ounce. It came in the midst of a banking crisis, when the stability of paper currency was in doubt. Consequently, many tried to withdraw their money and redeem it for gold, which was considered safer. Yeah, you can say whatever you like; I might not do it in private, but I try to restrict my comments in public to those I wouldn't mind momma hearin'. I don't think she'd mind that at all! I love you, too!
This is one of my favorites, and I know it's not "professional" but I DO think it's a good shot. I lucked into it, but I think I have a good eye and a sense of possibility.
There are so many times I want to stop when out and don't and then later think "that really would've made a good picture."
