Great choice of song today Mike , I love Cat Stevens , I like a lot of his old stuff, he does some good songs now mostly about world peace , seen him a few times strolling around Cyprus when he has been visiting the area, either he has been to the Middle East to join his fellow Muslims or maybe just here in Cyprus to visit relatives as he is part Cypriot from his Fathers side.
another great choice of song today.
oh Mike my heart bleeds for you sometimes....LOL
He was really popular when I was in high school and just after; I was partial to this song, but also liked Peace Train and Moonshadow, some others.
Can't even remember what the article was about, but he was in the news a few months back. I remember him converting? to Islam and then dropping out of sight.
Sure didn't know about his father's nationality, interesting tidbit of trivia.
Thanks for posting!
