Riley just loved CCR and was so psyched when John Forgarty launched his solo career in the 80's. We got to see him play in Boston about the time his album "Centerfield" came out. Very fun!
They're one of my favorite bands, Barb. "Fortunate Son" was my "theme song" when I was a boy and I can't think of a single song of theirs I do not like.
Fogarty is one of the few celebs/singers I cut some slack on when he voices some opinion of which I disagree. Of course, I was a lot more "liberal" when I was a kid than I am now, too....-grin-
I've got to find more CCR vids to post, 'cause I love 'em so much.
