  Founding of The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints (1830)Shortly after Joseph Smith published the Book of Mormon in 1830, he officially founded The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints—also known as the Mormon Church—in Fayette, New York. The church flourished but was forced to relocate frequently. It was violently expelled from Missouri, and a mob killed Smith in Illinois in 1844. I hope your Christmas day was a good one. We are having our meal and opening presents tomorrow (Saturday) cause we couldn't all be together til then. Wish you could be with us. I love and miss you, Mike.
Hope you had a good post-Christmas, Sis. I haven't opened up your pkg. yet, like to save it for a few days after just to have my own little tradition. I STILL have a pkg. to send you, put it on top of my computer desk and promptly forgot about it. I'll blow the dust off and send it, along w/ another shortly after, so sorry.
Well, I hope you have opened your present by now. With Mickey passing away it wasn't the best Christmas ever, but we made it through. I still wish you could have spent some of the holiday with us. Love you!
