  Sidney Poitier Becomes the First African American to Win Best Actor Oscar (1964)The first African American to achieve leading man status in Hollywood, Poitier began acting with the American Negro Theatre in New York City and made his film debut soon after. He won acclaim on Broadway for his role in 1959's A Raisin in the Sun and, in 1964, became the first African American to win the Academy Award for Best Actor, for his role in Lilies of the Field. Nice, I have not heard of them before ,or heard the song at all, but Chester sure has because when i played this he is singing away to it from across the other side of the room , hee hee , he is 7 years older than me :p
somehow reminded me of the mama&Papas ,guess it was the style of the late 60's.
The harmony sounds a lot like them and before I posted it, I thought that maybe the Mamas and Papas had also covered it, but didn't. Others did, though.
