I was surfing thru channels the other day on the boobtube and one of those inane dating shows was on and re-enacting this video was one of the things they did on the date.

I always wondered why they couldn't hook up a generator to those things, make it human powered instead of using power to walk on it, create some energy instead of expending it.

I knew a family that had only a small black and white TV and it was hooked up to a bike turning a car alternator which went to a voltage regulator and then to a battery. The kids had to peddle for something like 37 minutes to be able to watch a 30 min. show.; July 29, 2007 at 7:09 AM
