  Founding of The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints (1830)Shortly after Joseph Smith published the Book of Mormon in 1830, he officially founded The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints—also known as the Mormon Church—in Fayette, New York. The church flourished but was forced to relocate frequently. It was violently expelled from Missouri, and a mob killed Smith in Illinois in 1844. That really made me =g=
I was going to post my trivia scores in 4R last night and decided to look at some of the past posts. That one made me a little melancholy and nostalgic, then I read the comments where the suggestion was rejected, in the most diplomatic terms possible.
What gets me is that if they didn't see me reply to that particular post, then why would they think I did any of the other mischief they assigned to me?
-sigh- Drama, I can't believe I ever got caught up w/ that crapola.
I thought that a little funny now, though, and was worth a post. I know a couple more posts to link to just for grins.
