I think this is one of the best from Leanne , a little different I think to some of her songs, I had her on one of my playlists then it was removed , but now I see its back on YT so I will go add her again ( : I wish I could Yodel like her .
A wonderful classic. Love this son, Mike.
I'm not a huge country and western music fan, preferring to pick and choose what I want to listen to, but I was flipping through the channels and saw the very first airing of this video.
I watched for hours, VCR ready to go and record when they played it again. I recorded the vid and took it to my folks who said she sounded like a cross between Brenda Lee and Patsy Cline, which is a fair comparison.
Seeing her...and knowing how old she was....made me feel funny because I'm old enough to be her grandfather. If I had been 16 then, I'd really would've had a bad crush on her.
Still, she was SO cute then and still is pretty (but too thin, IMHO) I like it when she ventures outside of the country genre and wish she'd do some different things now 'n then.
Thanks for posting!
