Amazing Monkey , I would love one as a pet , although I still have in the back of my mind on how they can turn viscious ,I suppose thats a risk with all animals we choose to keep under our control. I think its rare that they turn on their owners though.
This one looks so loving and is so funny with his antics.
Yeah, I thought it was sweet, but it was young and they do get mean as they get older. I've known two people who had chimps and that was the case with theirs.
One guy had to keep his in a cage after he got married because it would bite his wife and even then it would "fling poo" at her through the bars. He finally had to get rid of it.
Plus, there was that incident a few months ago where the woman's chimp destroyed her friend's face, remember that?
Yes I remember that chimp attack a few months back and that did come to my mind when I was writing my last comment ,that story was telling how the woman had been giving the chimp Prozac or something so I guess if it had got to that stage then maybe she should have considered to have the animal sent to wherever it couldn't have harmed anyone or considered what the best option was for the chimp too , I know she had the animal years and years and I can understand how attatched to it she was, but also she must have known there was a chance he could turn on her or anyone in the way it did but she still risked keeping him .
