How do you explain the time change to your pet? Ugh...so much for getting the extra hour of sleep. Maggie got me up so I could let her outside and then when she came back in she jumped into her bed and went right back to sleep. I was wide awake as a big eyed bird though. Guess a cat wouldn't be as needy?
He's on his own timetable, sis.
I've had to do something I never did before: buy a litter box. I found some poop in a corner that's dark. Yuck.
I used to have one for him when I'd leave for a day and lock him in w/ food and water, but I don't know what happened to it. I got a cheap one and some cheap litter (I don't scoop out the poop, just throw it away) but he's not been very good w/ his "aim".
Anyway, just got back from WM and got a big sack of litter. Lord, I hope he improves on his deposits...cat crap just about makes me hurl smelling it...it's the worst smell of all the animal poops, even worse than pig poop, worse than dog crap...not quite as bad as sheep poop, but I don't have to smell THAT at all.
He's getting old and I'm dreading you-know-what. I honestly don't think I'll get another cat for a while, these outside ones have put me off having another one when B passes away.
