![]() ![]() Founding of The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints (1830)Shortly after Joseph Smith published the Book of Mormon in 1830, he officially founded The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints—also known as the Mormon Church—in Fayette, New York. The church flourished but was forced to relocate frequently. It was violently expelled from Missouri, and a mob killed Smith in Illinois in 1844. That was a great video. I wonder how long it took them to film the entire thing? It would have been so awesome going to all those places and interacting with all those people. I'm going back and watch it again!
I thought it a great vid, too, Sis. He's done several more and his story is interesting. I watched a video of him talking about answering the "it's fake!" cries and how he ran with it, very funny.
