Happy New Year Mike , Nice vid , love Glenn Miller sounds , my dad listened to a lot of his stuff so I heard him from being young.
Here is hoping 2013 brings us all the best of health first as no wealth on this earth can bring happiness if we are sick.
Cheers

I grew up on Big Band music, along with the rest of the music my folks liked: Ink Spots, Andy Williams, musicals...all sorts of music. I remember being out in the garage w/ my dad, working on something, listening to the local Top 40 radio station and The Beatles would come on and pop would hum along and say something like "Nice melody, wish they wouldn't mumble the words! Then, in the next sentence, he'd say "They oughta get haircuts, too!"
We never had a lot of money when I was growing up, but my folks gave me several of the most precious gifts a person could ask for: a love of reading, a thirst for knowledge and an appreciation for all types of music.
Happy New Year to you two, also!
Same to you, Joanne!
