The church flourished but was forced to relocate frequently. It was violently expelled from Missouri, and a mob killed Smith in Illinois in 1844. I like Tome Petty & the Heartbreakers stuff pre Jeff Lynne. And it's funny because I like ELO.
That's a bit of information I didn't know about Jeff Lynne. I'm not too knowledgeable about who was in what group. I used to roughneck w/ a guy who knew ALL that stuff and it made me realize that while I *think* I know music, I really don't. Sheesh, I can't keep all the variations of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young straight. -grin-
