  Apple Inc. Is Formed (1976)Apple Computer, Inc., was the first successful personal computer company. The company has its roots in the Jobs family's garage, where cofounders Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak assembled the first Apple computer. Consisting of a handmade motherboard, the Apple I did not even include a monitor or keyboard. The Apple II, introduced the next year with a plastic case and color graphics, launched Apple to success. That's okay--as long as I have enough ligaments and tendons to pick up my fork to eat and use my middle finger to make my thoughts known I will be just fine!
I'm sure you knew this, but I was surprised by it - I went and verified it when it was on my trivia calendar and found out it was correct.
When I had that compound dislocation of my little finger back in h.s., I sure thought it was muscle sticking up around the bone, but I guess it was just finger flesh.
