  Apple Inc. Is Formed (1976)Apple Computer, Inc., was the first successful personal computer company. The company has its roots in the Jobs family's garage, where cofounders Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak assembled the first Apple computer. Consisting of a handmade motherboard, the Apple I did not even include a monitor or keyboard. The Apple II, introduced the next year with a plastic case and color graphics, launched Apple to success. I hear ya, sis. Hope you're doing OK.
Getting laid off certainly wasn't in my plans at this late date in my life. I will get some severance pay, but will still need to look for another job before long. I have applied for my social security retirement since I will be 66 this month and am now eligible for the full amount. But, that isn't enough for me to live off of so I will need another job. I doubt I ever really get to fully "retire." It sucks.....
