The church flourished but was forced to relocate frequently. It was violently expelled from Missouri, and a mob killed Smith in Illinois in 1844. As I'm typing this with my boney fingers at least I've got a smile on my face. I haven't heard that song since I was knee high to a grasshopper. I did enjoy hearing it again, Mike.
I wonder who that is singing with him? One of the Mandrell sisters? I know there are other versions with other singers, one being Linda Ronstadt, but I don't know who this woman is.
I was going to ask you if you knew who was singing with him. I didn't recognize her but thought you might know. I did enjoy hearing that song though
