ya know, not ot belittle anyone's heart ache but I dislike those roadside memorials. A while back I used to have to drive a stretch of state highway that held the grueseome record for the most fatalities per mile in the state. In just under 2 miles I would drive by 6 of those things. Ever morning and every afternoon. It was my one route to the interstate and I used to drive it with headlights on and white knuckles.
Finally the state improved the highway, making it a divided one with 2 lanes each way.
It was right across from a sign and a small herd of cattle that I had stopped to photograph. I didn't even notice it until I turned around back to my truck.
I went ahead and took a photo of it and think I've posted the wrong one. This is a close-up but I should've also posted the one from across the road showing the breaks of the Canadian River. Got some shots of that for later, too.
