Roosevelt Forbids Hoarding of Gold (1933)Executive Order 6102 required US citizens and businesses to turn in all but a small amount of gold to the Federal Reserve in exchange for $20.67 per ounce. It came in the midst of a banking crisis, when the stability of paper currency was in doubt. Consequently, many tried to withdraw their money and redeem it for gold, which was considered safer. The chorus of this song always seems to touch me so much when I hear it. It just has such an intense and raw expression. Exactly what I feel when I think of that ocean separating Alison and I and just how much I love her and need her.. Well I'm not so familiar with the HP story lines in depth, I'm not even sure who Severus & Lily are to be honest! But I do know love! It's an awesome song, and I dont use that word often to describe things.. I found a video a while back i shared with Alison, it was Zepplin's "Thank You" set to the story of Aragon & Arwen from LOTR.. that one gets the description from me as well.. heres the url for it, maybe you've seen it already Love your posts Mike.. great job!

That's one of the things I dislike about replying to posts, it allows very few tags and doesn't seem to create / allow a link.
Cool vid, though. I watched the LoTR series and am in a forum where they have off topic stuff and it's discussed a great deal, just as is HP. I even got in trouble, being accused of attending special education classes and mean and petty because I posited that Ms. Rowling *might* have some anti-American sentiments. Sheesh. I am a pretty fair Harry Potter fan, but I didn't go out and buy me a replica sorting hat or anything like that.
Anyway, I can sure see how you guys love ea. other. I'm so proud for you.
