Roosevelt Forbids Hoarding of Gold (1933)Executive Order 6102 required US citizens and businesses to turn in all but a small amount of gold to the Federal Reserve in exchange for $20.67 per ounce. It came in the midst of a banking crisis, when the stability of paper currency was in doubt. Consequently, many tried to withdraw their money and redeem it for gold, which was considered safer. I didn't think anything bothered snapping turtles once they got that big. What kind of fish are those??
I believe the vid said they were...and they look to me like... cichlids.
Back when I had aquariums, I had some different types and they were all fairly agressive fish and one had to be careful about what other fish you had in the tank with them.
The most agressive (that I ever had) were Oscars, which were cichlids.
