Stevie Nicks was pretty and talented, but Christine McVie was the one who made my heart beat faster.

I've always loved this song. I wish I could play an instrument or even sing for that matter. I'm not sure what my talents are but they don't include either of those.
Meant to reply, but forgot.
This song and the others from the Rumours album hold fond memories for me. The album was getting a lot of airplay when I lived in Denton and I had a nice cassette/radio in my pickup. The variety of available FM stations was nothing like I'd ever seen before - to get a decent station, you had to be in Amarillo and even then the choices were fairly limited, with country being most of them.
Down there, you could choose from several different kinds of rock...there were Top 40 stations, classical and even different types of country. The Dallas station's transmitters were north of the city, which meant they were usually less than 15-20 miles away from Denton and they boomed in w/ such crystal clarity that it put my tapes to shame.
And Denton itself had some good stations, but the best thing about them was the bumper stickers that you could put on your vehicle and get discounts on admission to the drive-in. Joe, Nancy, Janet and I spent many nights watching movies there, sometimes for a dollar for the car load. We'd get lawn chairs and sit in the back of my truck and watch a movie under the stars on those warm summer nights, was great.
Anyway...McVie just announced she was going to join FM on their latest tour. She still looks pretty darn good for her age.
Too bad I don't. -grin-
to get a decent station UP HERE, meant to say. It's a lot better now, but still nothing like down there.
bumper stickers from the radio stations, meant to add. I think there were two station stickers, one for the carload, another that allowed free admission on Thursday nights and another from some other place that gave a discount.
Of course, none of the movies were first-run, but it was something to do on the cheap.
