It came in the midst of a banking crisis, when the stability of paper currency was in doubt. Consequently, many tried to withdraw their money and redeem it for gold, which was considered safer. Me too, Barb. I played Lunar Lander for a while after finding this website. I think I have the game amongst all the saved 4R Fun documents, will have to look.
I used to go to a neighbor's house and we'd play Mario 2 for hours and hours, then we discovered The Punisher and wasted more hours on that. Was fun, though.
