Kung Fu Science

(from the website)

Kung Fu is a form of self defence and is therefore extremely dangerous. The techniques featured on this website should only be conducted under supervision of a professional martial arts teacher. Under no circumstances should you try to recreate anything you see here.

All I would have to say about this site has already been said in those immortal words of Carl Douglas:

Everybody was Kung Fu Fighting!
Come on!
Huh! Woo-ha!
Those kicks were fast as lightning,
Hah! Woo-cha!
In fact, was a little bit frightening,
Huh! Huh-huh!
But they fought with expert timing.
Hah!

The Face of Age

Living in Three Centuries: The Face of Age

(from the website)

Living in Three Centuries: The Face of Age is the working title for this black-and-white photographic portrait project.

All seventy-two framed prints are available as a major traveling exhibition for museums and galleries, as well as limited edition individual prints for sale.

A book, a large-format monograph containing sixty images printed with absolute fidelity to the original photographs, is being produced to accompany the exhibition.

A fantastic group of photos, well worth a look!

eBay Foray # 1

I have this poster and it's in great condition. It's been in a mailing tube since I got it, shortly after the movie came out in '97

I've not set up an eBay acct. as of yet, but plan to do so. I have so much stuff like this and really should get rid of it.

A quick glance through the Starship Troopers search results shows only one movie poster from the movie, and it's different than mine, not as good, IMHO. That seller is asking $13 or so.

I never had any dreams about getting rich from eBay, just getting rid of a bunch of junk stuff.

I will take photos of some of my items and post them. They WILL NOT BE FOR SALE IN HERE because I don't know what Blogger's ToS are regarding that, I didn't start this blog for that purpose.

If you'll pay the postage, I'll ship some of my crapola collector's items to whoever wants *some* of them...*some* being the cheap stuff that really belongs in the dumpster less valuable items.

Last Supper Exhibit
Late afternoon, looking west

As of this date, the Last Supper exhibit is still unfinished and has quite a ways to go. A new statue has been added (and will post photos at some time in the near future) to the two already there, but there are ten more disciples to go.

I was told by one of the gift shop workers, a lovely local lady, that each bronze costs upwards of $30,000 (thirty thousand dollars) Even with my Miami High School edgy-cation, I can figure that it's going to take from between a quarter and half a million dollars to complete this exhibit.
