I keep my girlfriend on her toes

I'm not for sure where I got this, but I think it was from some porn site advert.

I've had it for ages and happened to run across it in an MSN Group I had set up for storage. I also think this was cropped for more than one reason; I think the little bit of the upper right was some guy doing something not particularly G-Rated.

StartSampling

StartSampling is one of my regularly visited sites.

They do not offer as many samples as they did five years ago, but the site still gives out a few good ones now and then. I enjoy taking their polls and other interactive features as well as the forums. There is also a wealth of recipes and other helpful household tips.

Each visit gives you points as does providing feedback about the samples you receive. You can also gain points for referring new members. The points do not mean as much these days as during the first few years of my membership; one Christmas I spent some of my points and got some children's books and other nifty goodies. Not much is offered now, and often they're out of the item, so...

It's still a favorite website of mine.

UBIQUITY ALERT 7-2-07

Was just in the other room and heard "ubiquity" being used during the Hitler History Channel's special programs about the states. It was used in the context of ketchup/catsup in Pennsylvania.

They're also talking, as I type, about Groundhog Day. I love that movie and love a friend who loves that holiday so I may very well have a new post label to add.

Not at this juncture, however. I've already been sent a warning about keyword abuse.

Cross at Dusk

Groom Cross
Facing east at sundown

I like this shot because it shows how the cross can change colors, depending upon the cloud cover and angle of the sun as well as the time of day and from what direction the photograph is taken.

I also like it because it seems to be leaning, and I may have leaned to one side because of the optical illusion provided by the two crosses, the one in the foreground being very small compared to the larger one in the background. I'm pretty certain I wasn't drunk.

I will have to come back and edit this post, tell about the lights that illuminate the cross at night. There are only two, but they're powerful suckers.
