ok, time for a comment that is totally out of context for the reason you made this post:
I was looking that the bore audience, only a few of them were even nodding along. I was thinking how incredibly difficult it must be to do a performance in front of dead fish.
Didn't mean to be so cryptic, but just wanted to let someone know I got their letter.
Yes, I noticed that too. I watched another video of them doing the same song and in both cases it was lip-synced. In the other one, the keyboard player was mugging for the camera and deliberately mouthing the words as so to leave no doubt that it wasn't a live performance.
I did a little research on the band; I knew who they were, of course, but not a lot about them. I can't remember his name, but I read the singer was 16 yrs. old when that song came out.
Yep, it would be annoying to play for such an audience, but OTOH, at least no one was standing up in front of you when you were trying to watch the show. I watched a PBS show the other day where a few dozen people in the audience were standing up. That would annoy me to no end, esp. if I had paid good money to get in. The last time I went to the movies there wasn't but a dozen people there and I had almost one entire side to myself, then in comes a cowboy and his g/f and he sat right in front of me, keeping his hat on. I've never shushed anyone or the like, but I asked him if he'd take his hat off. Annoyed, he did, but it just made me wonder why some people have to be so passive-aggressive. You'd have to be a huge dumbass to not realize you were blocking the view. Besides that, I think he wanted to sit there on purpose JUST to annoy me. He only had 200 other seats to choose from.
Hi Mike, I just happened to think about you today, and so I thought I would let you know that I finally got a divorce this year (after 35 years of marriage), and I moved to Kentucky. I hope you are doing well. Laura
No, I got off there over a yr. ago, b/c of them shuttering some conservative groups and de-platforming similar prominent conservatives. There was also the ubiquitous security concerns, esp. with all the game apps my friends used and I would get spammed by them, plus i was given several three day bans for reporting groups like "Kill Sarah Palin" or "Trump Must Die!", said I was "abusing the system". Had enough of it.
Oh, I didn't even realize that about the comments on my website. I wonder why that happened. Oh well. This will probably be the last year that it's on the web. I have to pay to have that website hosted, and the advertising dollars are dropping down since I don't post recipes anymore. I think this is the last year that I will be making more money in advertising than I pay for the hosting. Anyway, it sounds like you are doing well and are on the right side of the political scene. I think Trump is doing a fantastic job, and he will definitely be getting my vote again. Take care, Mike!
I think I've always been on the right side, not to mention the "correct" side! I didn't like Trump, but voted for him - there was no other choice. Literally.
OK, then, thanks for the update, glad to hear you're doing OK.

Hi Mike,
I just happened to think about you today, and so I thought I would let you know that I finally got a divorce this year (after 35 years of marriage), and I moved to Kentucky. I hope you are doing well.

I just looked for you on Facebook, but I couldn't find you. If you're still on there, I'm Laura Lowe Jones.
