Everyone's got a double, they say

Something has been bothering me....

I've been staring at my pal Garazon's new fiancée, not just because she's gorgeous and I'm insanely jealous of so proud for him, but because Alison, my black sheep bud's betrothed, looked like "someone"... but I couldn't put my finger on who it was.

(and the last time I really put my finger on someone has been a LONG time ago, another reason I'm such a pathetic creature envious)

Then it finally dawned on me:

She looks like Mary McDonnell, television and movie star; some of McDonnell's more memorable movie roles have been in Sneakers, Independence Day and that already classic flick, Dances With Wolves. (my dad's fav. movie)

I'm always thinking someone looks like someone else, though. I suppose that's because I'm constantly being confused with Homer Simpson Mel Gibson.

Then, on the other hand, I could be wrong, could be all mixed up. That could be a distinct possibility; it happens frequently, I'm afraid to say.

Maybe I subconsciously think Garazon looks like Kevin Costner.

Leap of Faith

Love this movie, some of the tent scenes near the end were filmed near Groom, Texas.

Dan'l Boone had a cat, yes a big cat

My good friend Annie, from NZ, made this graphic.

I was in an MSN Group managed by someone I didn't particularly like, but stayed in there because I had a couple of good friends amongst the membership.

This mgr. had one of those flat-faced Persian? cats and while I don't find cats annoying, I find cat owners who talk of their cats as though...well, sometimes I'm guilty of doting on MY cat, but I DO know he's an animal and my pet.

Anyway...this was just a little joke between Annie and me. She took the real photo of the cat and added it to this coonskin cap clipart I had.

Funny. Not even a feeble attempt, but a good one. Good enough to get a chance in the drawing for Free Gas for a Year. (details to be announced)
