I took several shots of this moth/butterfly/whatever, but it was so windy the camera wouldn't focus because the flower bush kept moving. There were all sorts of insects on the plant, some tiny wasp-looking things and some different types of little bees.
The best of a bad lot.

Hey! That looks like a Monarch Flutterby. We had a bunch hatch our around the yard this summer. IT was fun watching the whole process. The little critters migrate down to Mexico so maybe that's a Lee flutterby. =bg=
oh, cool link about how they manage that migration.

I was wondering if that wasn't what that butterfly was, and should've gone and researched it.
I was disappointed I couldn't get a good focus on the insects. The wind would die down and all of a sudden the focus would be crystal clear but I couldn't anticipate it, what with the annoying shutter lag on this Nikon.
That link isn't working; the worst thing about Blogger is the limited reply feature; they really could use a fancy editor, at least allow posting of pics/graphics from Picassa or PB.
Anyway, I get a "403 Forbidden" page. I think the link got chopped off.
