Thanks for your recent mail.
Hello!
My name is Sevil! I am 29 years old. I saw your profile and decided to write you because I like you very much. I am an interesting, beautiful, kind and single young lady. I want to find my love, my half and want to marry him. I am looking for a man who will fall in love with me and I will fall in love with him. I have never been married but I dream about it. I am fond of children and I dream about a happy family with the beloved man. I am interested in music, cooking, reading, traveling and others. I know English very good and can easily speak it because I work as a teacher of English at school.
If you are interested in me please write me on my e-mail: krasotishe99@yahoo.com
Please write me and I will send you my photos. I wait for your letter very much.
Sevil
Oh, Sevil, you don't know how long I've waited for someone like you to come into my life. I'll have to pass, however, as I would bet you are probably around 14 yrs. old.
Something else that raised my suspicions is the address the mail "came from".
Jack Thompson pncsm@bluedesign.com.py
"Jack Thompson"??? Sure your name isn't Ivan Ivanovitch?
One thing's for sure, you're certainly a sorry slavic spammin' sunuvabitch.
Welcome to ToTG!

LOL the spam folder is filled with these things, I do love that about gmail, they do a very good job of filtering the garbage, not sure what the Russian word for garbage is though.
hey at least you got an offer of having a photo sent, I was asked to send a wood stove by Elena, she's proabaly Sevile's poorer cousin or something.. ;)
Hi from Russia
Hi,
My name is Elena, I am 32 year and I live in Russian province. I work in library and after my work I allowed to use computer when it possible.
I finded your email in internet and I decide to ask you for help.
I have 7 year daughter, her father abandoned us and we live with my mother.
Due to crisis my mother lost job and our situation became very difficult.
Price for heating our home is very high and we cannot afford it anymore.
The winter is coming and weather becoming colder each day. We don't know what to do and we very afraid.
We need portable stove which give heat from burning wood. We have many wood in our region, but we cannot buy this stove in local market because it cost equivalent of 193 Euro and very expensive for us.
If you have any old portable wood burning stove, I pray that you can donate it to us and organize transport of its to our address or help us to buy it in our local market.
This oven are different, they are from cast iron and weight 100-150kg.
I pray for your help and I hope that our situation will improve soon.
From all my heart I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Elena.
I always have wanted to write these people back asking some inane question or pretending interested, but I know it would only serve to have a s***load more spam sent my way.
If I could reply it would sound something like this:
Hi Elena, I am sorry to hear your mother was affected by crisis, (by the way, just what crisis was that?) Crisis is big in this country too, I would love to transport you that special cast iron oven with weight 100-150kg, in fact ii have two spare ones sitting out in the barn right now just going to waste! I took one down to the post office to send it to yo and realised you didnt include the address. How could you forget to include that? To be sure this mail isnt some scam to just hope some schumck will think to his or her self that the postage to ship a 300 lb cast iron stove would far exceed the €193 ($245 US) and just feel pity for your situation and send you the money instead? Well i do have a heart and hate to think of you and your 7 year son and in crisis mother going without heat this winter which is getting colder. I just dont know how I can help really as i have no Euros, well no thats a lie, I do have one from when I went to Europe last year to see my fiancee and saved it. Its special to me and I would have a hard time parting with it,but considering your dire situation I feel I should give it to you. I know its not much but the least I can do. To save the postage to send it perhaps you can ask Sevil to stop by my house when she gets to America and I will give it to her to take to you ok? I have a feeling Sevil wont be long in hte US anyway before she gets deported! I think shes a bad girl, and so is her pimp...er... sugar daddy Jack Thompson! Well write me back and let me know if all this sounds good to you. By the way I have a mother in crisis too and we need a flat screen tv. We have many electricity in our region but the local merchants want a crapload of Euros for them and they just too expensive for us. I pray for your help too and hope the situations change for both of us.
From all my heart I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

It's really sad, these things. Most of us have the good sense to figure out that they are scams, but the news is filled with stories of folks who have sent their entire life savings to the senders of these mails.
My gosh, Elena wants a cast iron stove sent through the mail?
I got a Russian Singles mail once and went to the site. I'm not for sure if it was legit or not, but since I can't find a woman in this hemisphere.... -grin-
I noticed a hit on this post from Ireland.
I love posting their emails; this site gets trawled frequently and I'm thinking I will "bump" this up just to make sure the addys get picked up by Google and listed in the search for this, PLUS I'm hopin' the spambots pick up on 'em, too.
