Thanks for this. I do plan on watching Breaking Bad someday. Hubby doesn't like being alone, so mostly We watch what He likes. He goes to bed early, so then the TV is mine!
I never noticed, but an embedded video doesn't have the closed captions while if you view it on YT, it does...this video, anyway.
I think you'd like BB; I've written in here before that I loved it at first, then it got a little disturbing b/c there weren't the funny moments there were in the first few episodes. I gave up on it for a year, then caught up when AMC aired all the shows one weekend. I got hooked again.
Some series have "signature scenes", one that comes to most people's minds when they think of the show, but BB has several. There were certainly some memorable characters; villains made even more scary because you KNOW there are people like that out there and even the heroes had flaws. Walt, the main character, was both hero and villain and yet I couldn't help but root for him up to the very last scene. He doesn't completely redeem himself for all the horrid things he'd done, but he came as close as he could.
Sometimes a show annoys me with how they try to manipulate your emotions, but BB did and I loved it.
Also, I have all the episodes and d/l the captions for them for my Zoom Player, not b/c I need them, but there were a few scenes I couldn't understand a line, was just about to drive me nuts rewinding and trying to figure them out.
