UPDATE: A new cam with a better view.
View the webcam at Niagra Falls and turn up your speakers because you can also hear the awesome sound of the water. Right now, there's a lot of ice and "steam" that obscures the view, but it's still very impressive. There's also one to view both falls at once as well as one showing the Lower Niagra River.

That's one of the many places in this country that I'd love to see in person. This one is actually "do-able' too.
It's a place I've always wanted to visit, too. Funny, Elle and her family went there twice in the course of a couple of years. It was easy for them to go b/c they didn't have to have a visa, being British subjects. (didn't at the time, anyway) The second time they visited was after 9/11 and they went on to NYC to visit Ground Zero. The last time Elle was here, she thought about staying another couple of weeks but if she had, she prob. would have had to stay even longer b/c of the flights that were grounded.
I think I'll make a list of places in the U.S. I want to see, do a series of posts on them.
Thanks f/ posting!
That would be a fun post to contemplate. I've traveled mostly by air so you miss big swaths of country. I think it would be fun at some point to do a road trip.
