500 Miles - The Proclaimers

I like this acoustic version better than the regular vid.

A toe-tapper in any dialect or language.

Buddy Hollyish, I'd even say.

Ask your co-worker to transcribe "Trainspotting" for me, if you would.

Love the movie, would like to watch it again. I had the subtitles on, but my machine couldn't decipher the burr.

-grin-

Always wanted to go to Scotland, would do it if I did the GB tour. I doubt they could understand MY accent/twang, or they probably would nod off to sleep before I'd get finished with a sentence, we talk so slow.

I don't look good in plaids, but I'd be willin' to wear a kilt...unless the wind was blowin'.

Quite a few famous Americans were born in Scotland, Andrew Carnegie and Alexander Graham Bell, for example (off the top of my head)

Robert Burns and Sean Connery, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and (be still my beating heart) Sheena Easton!!!

Thanks for posting!
