Beat This Fact

Did you know a woman's heart beats faster than a man's? The bigger a person is, the slower their heartbeat. Women are generally smaller, so their heart beats 6-8 beats faster than the average man's heart.

I have known some women whose hearts were made of stone, though.

I'm a fiscal conservative, so politically speaking, I'm not supposed to even have a heart.

Thanks f/ posting!

Maybe I am a zombie, Joanne. I just don't believe in taking people's money to give to others. Robin Hood's motives *might* have been honorable, but he was, in the end, a thief.

When the people find they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic.

Mike, don't trust ANY politicians ;)

Oh, I don't Joanne. I very seldom do political stuff on here; there's a zillion other blogs that cover that, but if you've noticed the few political posts I have done, you'll see that.

I'm a conservative, not ashamed of it. What I AM ashamed of is how conservatism has been redefined to include social "crapola". I have no problem with gay marriage (not "for" it enough to march in the streets for it, but I don't see why govt. has to be involved in marriage in the first place).

I am anti-abortion except in cases of rape, incest or the life of the mother, but it's legal and will prob. remain that way. It's such a personal thing, anyway and since I don't believe in it, I have decided I'll never have one. I do think there should be *some* restrictions on it, such as a cut-off time. If a woman is going to have one, the sooner the better. Otherwise, it smacks of murder.

I'm against the "War on Drugs". That doesn't mean I'm "pro-drugs", but that prohibition simply doesn't work, our own ban on liquor during the 1920's proved that. Take away the money from it and the problem will not go away, but will be lessened to a large degree.

I consider myself a Christian and would want my President to be one, but if he/she were an atheist and conservative, then they would get my vote. I'm so sick of the religious extremists and their social agendas calling themselves conservatives...they want regulations on everything they deem improper, but that's more govt. and that's anything but conservative.

I am planning on doing a couple more political-type posts then I'm going to leave it alone.

Thanks f/ reading and commenting.
