Formerly Favorite Font

Comic Sans used to be my font of choice when I was in MSN Groups.  I used it as the default font in this blog when I started and even wrote a post about it.

As is with nearly all these quizzes, I like to think most of the results really do apply to me. The "people appreciate you best in small doses" is probably true, too. That's OK; I feel that way about most people, myself.

You Are Comic Sans

You are a nothing but a big goofball.

You're quite playful and fun!

You're widely known for your zany personality and your vivacious attitude.

To say that you stand out in a crowd would be a definite understatement.

Remember that you are overwhelming at times and that people appreciate you best in small doses.

When I run across Comic Sans font I always thing of "MiT". And then I'm brought to how long I imagined you were an engineering geek from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and couldn't reconcile that image with someone who would post in Comic Sans font. {BG}

More like "mit" as in "nitwit" and "twit". -grin-

Honestly, after reading anything I wrote, you thought I was a graduate of MIT?

The "MiT" thing came from the "mikeintexas" nickname I used in chat rooms, the first thing I did when I got online, back when I was just using the computers at the library before I got my own. I used that name because of the constant "A/S/L" private msgs. I was getting. I figured the Mike in Texas took care of the sex and location and since we were in a 40+ chatroom....

Thanks f/ posting!

My quiz results said my font was Impact-It said in part "You are not the easiest person to understand" That's an understatement! Or the easiest to like or get along with, either. I still use the Comic Sans most of the time. I also originally used the sharintexas for the same reason many years ago, Mike. I was most likely copying off you! I haven't been in a chat room in forever. I'll bet not much has changed.

I d/l some fonts the other day, thought I might make a new banner for the blog. The one now is called "Mom's Typewriter" and I wanted it to convey the amateurishness of the blog, like using an old dirty key typewriter. I found some more similar typewriter fonts.

I got tired of using "mikeintexas" so I shortened it. Barb's not the only one who mentioned thinking of the school MIT.

Just noticed the typo in my post. I wish I'd either learn to proof read better or that blogger would give commenters an edit feature.

Also just took a look at my profile pic on here (full size). Think it's time to update that one to, it's about 6 years old. Heck, Colleen is almost as tall as I am these days.

oh and i just took the quiz. It said I was Andale Mono. "

You are a geek, pure and simple. You spend a lot of time online.
In fact, you probably love the internet more than anyone you know.

You are picky about design, mostly for readability's sake.
You are the type most likely to be irritated by a bad font."

It's pretty close to the font I use as my default at work, which is Calibri.
