I Think It Ate the Page

404 page on Putlocker, one of the dodgy video sites I frequent.

Uh-oh!

Not exactly a 404 page, but a strange one.   I was looking at real estate on Trulia and kept trying to find homes in the Krum, TX area and was getting this ea. time I clicked on a link.

I'd say if your house was tilted on edge like that, it would be self-tidying; the dirt and trash would slide right out the door...along with the furniture, appliances and any house guests you might have.

Then again, that might be a good feature to have on that last, huh?

Trumped Again!

Hilarious 404 page from the President's re-election website.

I Had to Google This

I've received other Google error pages before, but never a 404 page.

I kept trying again to reach my Gmail account and kept getting the following until about the fourth time when I got an explanation page that there was "something wrong with your cookies."  I figured it couldn't be MY fault since they're the ones that like to put them on my computer and track me all across the World Wide Web.

Deleted cache and cookies and everything was copacetic.  I am loathe to delete my browser cache until necessary, esp. since I now have to pay for my data usage.

"That's all we know."  They probably know more about me than did my mom.

Zoinks!

Not quite a 404 page but a funny one from Imgur when a photo has been deleted.

ALTO!

From landelli.com.mx, a 404 page that literally stops you in your surfing tracks.

Although, I think stop signs in Mexico say "ALTO" and also in Central and S. America.  The website is in Spanish, but I guess only stupid gringos like me click on broken links, hence the English 404 page.

Teach Me!

Teach me where to find the page I had bookmarked!

Unremarkable

The most remarkable thing about this 404 message on TuneIn.com (radio) is that it's so unremarkable;  no cutesy little joke or illustration, no snarky or clever comment, just this simple graphic:

Bummed, Not Buzzed

Not a 404 page, but close enough. Found on the TV Buzer page.

Nope, no free honey, not even the sweet link I was looking for.

Different Dead Dog Links

Not different dead dogs, but dead links with different dogs.

Here's one of the Amazon 404 pages;  you can get a different dog by refreshing the page, but they're all on this page: Meet the Dogs of Amazon.

Say what you want about Amazon, it has to be a pretty good place to work that lets you bring your dog...unless you don't LIKE dogs, I guess.

Partly Cloudy

I was trying to find an article on 22 Words, but got this instead:

These types of 404 pages annoy me even more than the broken link.  I wanted to read what I was linked to (from the 22 Words Facebook page) and instead of telling me to join with you (the "Let's find something!") in looking for another article, how about fixing your damn link to begin with?

Thirsty for Videos

I wanted to watch a video hosted on Openload, but instead got this 404 message.

"Videos, videos everywhere, nor any link to click"

With all apologies.

Broken Link Buzzing

While not technically a 404 page as per the label, this TVBuzer page was still cute...even if the results are basically the same.

"Busy as a bee" works when it's trying to fix a broken link, too.

The Worm Didn't Turn

Cute 404 page on The Food Channel:

I was a little disappointed I wasn't able to find the recipe for Chicken Alfredo Soup right away, but I guess it's like real life; it's better to bite into an apple and find a worm than biting into one and finding half a worm.

Disqus 404

Got this "page not found" message on a movie site that uses Disqus for comments. It was an animated image behind the message and was cool looking, but i didn't recognize the movie or TV show from which the scene was taken. If I had to guess, what with the primitive/fur clothing and the winter landscape, that it was something from Game of Thrones (which I don't watch).

I was disappointed the link didn't work, but I didn't feel like crying like the guy in the graphic seems about to do.  Then again, if it IS GoT, then the poor slob is probably about to get executed.

Anybody have a guess?

(click image for larger view) or you can view the page here.

Note:  After publishing this post, I do as I always do and checked the link to make sure it worked. (this blog doesn't have a 404 page, not that I know of)  I got a Batman animation with the same message, so it must rotate among different scenes.

I was trying to look up the profile of a guy who had been whining that his last post had been deleted by the moderator.  That post, as well as his account, seems to have been terminated...just like the guy in the scene, I bet.  Yep, winter is coming.

Off the Map

While trying to amend the URL of the post below (to take out the Facebook appendage reference in the link) I stumbled across the Atlas Obscura 404 page: (the first part of it is a screen shot, but the "here" link will work)

There aren't even monsters here. If you want monsters, check here.

404 Flood

Not only is it flooding here in Texas, it's flooding on the Internet with broken links.

Found on Brit+Co.

Speechless Thought Bubble

Or maybe it's a thoughtless speech bubble, I dunno.

I was looking at headlines on my Bing start page and got this page after clicking a link:

It wasn't a 404 error because I looked down at my modem and saw I was temporarily offline.  (AT&T -spit!-)  Close enough to a 404 page for the blog label, though.
