Did you post that for me? *bg* I really like that song and most of that new album.

I just got to see them play in Boston at the Garden this past Monday, what a blast that was. . I got to see them just twice before, in 2005 and 2006, and this time the band seems much more relaxes and able to enjoying themselves.

The sold out crowd of 30,000 was singing and cheering and it was just deafening. I don't know how the boys could hear themselves or each other.

Everyone in the place stood from the first song on and every one was singing along and cheering LOUD.

We got there early and I was people watching and damn if I didn't see someone with event staff tags on come up TWICE to our section (Balcony 301) and upgrade two groups of fans. One was a group of 4 twenty something girls. I watched the floor and saw them come out and get an escort right down to the front floor section, SECOND ROW FROM THE FRONT, right next to the catwalk. The second time a different staffer came up and picked a pair of fans from behind us and got them floor seats too, center stage, row 2. Imagine being that lucky eh?? I thought it was the coolest thing, the band upgrading early arriving fans from up in the cheap seats.

Even up in the cheap seats we weren't that far from the stage, we were about 1/3 back from the front so had great line of sight and the sound was good too.

I hope when they swing back to the US in the fall/winter they add some more dates, I'd love to see them again.

Did I post that for you? Of course I did!

I used the Yahoo vid because YouTube was "down" for several days. They've got it sorted out now, looks like.

It's been a while since I was last at a concert, not that I've been to too many. I never really cared for them to be honest. (concerts, not Coldplay)

"Too loud" is one reason, plus I don't like being in crowds. The last one I went to was Loverboy back when my nephews were young boys and I sat in the back of the Amarillo Civic Center, in the seats...with the rest of the old farts.

Took my binoculars and enjoyed it much better that way. Besides, the "old farts" had better smoke, I think. -grin-

I'm not a big one for crowds, that's one of the reasons we got there early. But I am such a fan of this band, I just couldn't imagine them playing somewhere so close to me and not going to see them in person.
