Firm Meat Loaf

It's been mentioned several times in here that I love to visit the StartSampling website. I always get a free sample if they're offered that day and if one or more of the recipes catches my fancy, I often save the entire page in order to try the recipe out later.

There are also helpful hints as well as a section for members seeking help with things such as how to get certain stains/odors out. Today a 72 yr. old lady was asking how she could get her meat loaf recipe to "stand up". She stated that it was one thing she hadn't been able to do in her life and her husband was about to leave her because of it.

Several people gave her some good advice/recipes on the msg. board, but one reply made me literally laugh out loud:

At 72 years old ... who is he to gripe about something not being firm enough?

I had to leave a reply.

Mike--

Glad to know you were privy to all the anguished debates we had about whether to ban a single troll who was posting massive amounts of gibberish that sucked all the oxygen out of our comments, and your knowledge of our internal process allowed you to judge us as "closed-minded censors".

Every blogger I've talked to is astounded at what we still let through, including, of course, your denunciation.

Only one person is banned from PTS. It's not because of politics.

It was the first thing that came to mind, dark. (close-minded censors) I don't remember what link I left, but it was the first one I found and it had multiple links on the page.

Newmax, NYT, depending upon how you lean, neither are "reliable sources".

"Anguished"??? I doubt that. The only thing that anquished you guys was your Bushhate syndrome and I imagined you guys spent many sleepless nights trying to come up with some other pejorative than "Repugs".

I had seen the multiple posts about "the troll", figured it was that celtic texan dude whom ya'll ("whom ya'll" LOL ) had blistered in the past.

You ARE close-minded, especially for being so-called liberals. Hell, the liberals I know are tolerant to an extent and I've often been accused of having liberal ideas, but I never want to be as mean-spirited as you guys are.

I used to pop in nearly every day, see what you guys were currently foaming at the mouth over, but I've taken you off my favorites and will never go back.

Got that off my chest, thank goodness. This isn't a poltical blog, although I have included a few things about politics. My regular readers know I'm an equal-opportunity spoofer, albeit a conservative one.

"Privy". That describes this blog, all right. It's a cesspool of satire.
