blatherskite blath·er·skite [blath-er-skahyt] noun
1. a person given to voluble, empty talk.
2. nonsense; blather.
Certainly not a word I use; in fact, I've never seen or heard it before, but I'm afraid it describes me.
I probably should start a new blog and call it "The Blatherskite".

It is a good word. Never heard it used tho.
Kind of sounds Scottish ! something I would probably hear in my neck of the woods back in the UK, made me laugh at the sound of it, in the Northeast they would use the word 'Gobshite' which is sounding similar and means exactly the same .
