OMG, Gracie's 86. Guess I should stop expecting her to mouse and such.
The Beej is 56, I think. Older than me, but gets around better.
Thanks for posting!
PeeWee is 88 and something. Valerie got Him as a teen, some people were moving and She said My Mom likes cats. I do like Him, but He still blames Me for getting the dog who He is not fond of. A person would reckon after 8 years He'd forgive Me, but nope.
Not sure about our Blackie , has to be at the youngest 41 but could be a lot older as when we saw her roaming the neighbourhood yards for food it was 5 years back and then she wasn't a very young looking cat ,she mostly lazes and sleeps so I guess she is an OAC.
I don't know exactly how old the Beej is; first, my memory is a little shaky as to the exact time he was born. His mother was abandoned by the neighbors next door and I started feeding her out of pity. She had her litter under the empty house on the other side of me, prob. about seven little kittens. It got to where I couldn't afford to feed them all, so one day I rounded them up and took them to the pound..except for the little black one. I believe that was in the summer of '99, so that would make B almost 16 y.o.
He doesn't do anything but eat and sleep now, very seldom wanting outside. He used to shine like a new penny, but now his coat is much duller. He still gets around pretty good, but I see a tiny limp and it takes him longer to get up from his nap(s). I had to put in a litter box for him and he often has accidents getting to it. I used to get really angry at him and he makes a better effort, but still doesn't quite make it and I don't have the heart to scold him, not that I think that does much good w/ cats. He still eats well, though, and it's nearly as picky w/ the types of soft food as he used to be.
He's not as picky, meant to say. Always wished there was an edit feature on the comments.
